Experience
Rivka handles much of the behind-the-scene details at CLP, including blog and newsletter maintenance, accounting, and correspondence.
Her previous experience includes volunteering as a community activist for the 2012 Presidential elections. Prior to CLP, she ran her own home-based business which created full-size, color advertising calendars for niche markets.
She lives with her husband and 4 children, who are all working to do their part to “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.” They have traded in their car keys for bicycles and bus passes. Raised in Southern California, she remembers having solar panels to heat the swimming pool in the early 80’s—long before it was popular.
Rivka has attended Mt Holyoke College, UCLA, and the University of Maryland and holds degrees in Biological Science and Hearing and Speech Science.
